VETERANS SERVING VETERANS FOR OVER 34 YEARS

Over 34 years ago, I decided to collect my father’s WWII Medals and give them to him for Christmas. The task took over 9 months even with being on active duty … and I had to go to the French Government for one of his Medals! The cost to frame them (on a Captain’s pay!) gave me a heart attack – but they were a great hit with Dad and the entire family.

To our surprise, several other family members asked me to do their Medals. When I groused and grumbled, Linda said, “You know, there’s a need for a company to do this for Veterans and their families” – and from that idea, Medals of America was born!

Our mission is simple – we want every Veteran and Service person to display the Medals our grateful Nation awarded them. Anything we can do to have all the great Americans who served their country in the Military Forces display their awards will enrich future generations by these symbols of Duty, Honor and Country.

WHY MILITARY AWARDS AND INSIGNIA

With the release of such movies as Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor coupled with the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of World War II and the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, the American public has shown a great interest in the military awards and insignia our country has bestowed upon her veterans. Besides veterans and their families, military active duty, guard and reserve forces love these books because they gives them a single source of official information that describes and shows all their military awards and insignia. Libraries, collectors and history buffs all need the entire series.

These are the most comprehensive military awards books ever written on the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Forces. Every military medal is illustrated in color with complete details for award, attachments, date’s, and history. There is no other book in the world where all of this information comes together and answers every award question from World War II to present.

Written or edited and published by a decorated senior military officer these are the most up to date and authoritative military awards and insignia books ever written on United States, United Nations and South Vietnamese awards.
